Very scary work. Those thorns look so harsh and the expression on her face really highlights that. Her back is hunched and her neck is turned in a slightly disconcerting way. The model's arms and fingers are also held in stiff, almost jagged positions. The lighting here is great as well; if it were not for the skin tones, this would have looked like a black-and-white photograph.
The only problem that I have with this work is that the model's face looks removed, in terms of mood, from the feeling depicted by her posture. Not too removed though, it just feels like a juxtaposition of two different states of shock.
Very wicked! Reminds me of a piece I did a while back! Quite neat how similar the bodily expression of discomfort and anguish is portrayed here; I mean to say it is interesting how two very different artists have chosen to portray their respective subjects in this almost identical manner! Just a very fascinating coincidence! So cool.
Anyway, back to the piece as that is more of what should be focused upon here- I really love the almost-emaciated appearance of the subject, the pose, the uncomfortable position communicating a sense of breathlessness; struggling to breathe, to exist. The atmosphere here is entrancing as well through the lighting. Wonderful model and wonderful photo work! Kudos!

Excellent work. I hope to see more!
