This is a really neat image, it manages to be both beautiful and creepy all at the same time. I really like the vivid contrasts between the red, the black, the white and the green they pop nicely without being distracting. I also think that the off center, lean of the model in the image works well. However, I find that the top right corner of the picture becomes a little distracting. I feels empty due to the fact that the image blurs out in that direction, making it seem very flat. This also tends to flatten the image out to some extent detracting from the beautiful things that happen throughout the rest of it.
I like the way that the framing is done around the left side and the bottom of the image. The black areas in the grass that fade into the frame. But, again I do not think that this works as well on the other two sides of the image--the right side and at the top towards the right side--the cut off feels forced and less neat.
Oh, no, no, no...I'll be the Other view here on the skin color and I am not looking to stir up anything and maybe I am missing something...and Everything is Subjective.
Now, with all that out of the way, this is an absolutely astonishing shot. The five colors blend and fit perfectly and the Black of your eyes ( I adore all by themselves) set within the lack of color, to me has the increased effect of giving this shot a even higher sense of eeriness. You being surrounded by the brilliant green grass and the splash pop from the red petals.
Oh, Hail and Blessed Be...this shot was meant to be done exactly this way and none other.
